Closing your Cash App account will disable your $cashtag, prevent payments from being received, and sign you out of all sessions. To close your account, you will need to Cash Out all funds.
If you have a personal or business account linked, it will also be closed. You will need to Cash Out all funds from the linked account as well.
Please be aware that as a financial institution Cash App is legally required to maintain some transaction records and account information.
If you would like to close your account:

<li>Select Something Else</li>
<li>Select Account Settings</li>
<li>Select Close Account</li>
