What does the verification badge mean?

A blue verification badge next to a $cashtag means Cash App has confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the public figure, celebrity, or global brand it represents. The badge appears next to select $cashtags and shows up in an account’s profile view, in payment receipts, in activity view, and next to the account name in search results. A verified badge does not imply an endorsement by Cash App.

How can I get a verified $cashtag?

An account may be verified if it's of public interest, such as a celebrity or global brand. We are not accepting requests to verify $cashtags at this time. If you have a verified account and change your $cashtag, email, and/or phone number associated with the account, verification will be lost and you will need to be re-verified.
