Why is Cash App asking to verify my income?

Cash App is required to know info about our customers. We may require you to verify your income to gain access to certain features or products. To verify this info, you’ll need to share documents like your pay stubs or tax forms.

You’ll choose which document you’re uploading in-app, then you can either take a photo of the document or upload an image. Please make sure the document you upload matches the answers you’ve provided to us regarding your work situation, yearly income, and main source of income.

When we request additional information, it is used to verify your income. We don’t share it except where required by law. It doesn't affect your credit score and isn’t visible to anyone else on Cash App. All information is encrypted.
