Set up Tap to Pay on iPhone
It's quick and easy to set up Tap to Pay on iPhone for your Cash App Business account.
Before getting started, make sure:
Your device is supported: Tap to Pay is currently available on iPhone XS and above running iOS 16.7 or later
Your device software is up-to-date: To update to the latest version, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Then tap Download & Install
You’re signed into the correct Apple Account: Learn more about signing into your Apple Account
Your Cash App is up to date: Tap to Pay works best on Cash App version 5.10 and above—visit the App Store to download the latest update
Once you’re ready to set up Tap to Pay:
Open Cash App from your iPhone
Select the Tap to Pay icon from the Keypad. Or, from Discover, press the Set up Tap to Pay tile
Check the box to agree to Square's Payment Processing Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and E-Sign Consent, and to Square and Cash App sharing data to enable Tap to Pay.
Press Continue
Follow the prompts to sign in to your Apple Account and link your Cash App account with Tap to Pay on iPhone
Make sure to keep the app open while completing setup - it can take up to a minute. Once you receive confirmation, you're ready for your first sale.
