The Cash Card is a Visa debit card that can be used to pay for goods and services from your Cash App balance, both online and in stores.
You may have access to your card details as soon as you order it to add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay and make purchases online.
The transaction limit for Cash Cards is $7,000 per transaction. The following limits also apply:
- $7,000 per day
- $10,000 per week
- $15,000 per month
These limits reset at the following times:
- Daily limit: 6pm CST
- Weekly limit: 6pm CST every Saturday
- Monthly limit: 6pm CST on the last day of the month
These limits are inclusive of all Cash Card transactions, whether in-store or online, and include ATM withdrawals. Note: Any attempted transaction, successful or declined, will apply toward these limits.
Changing the design of a Cash Card is a premium feature that allows you to select a unique color for your Cash Card, change your signature, and include emojis to set you apart from others.

To receive a Cash Card, you will need to verify your account.
Pay with Apple Pay using your Cash Card.

How to order a new Cash Card
For your protection, your Cash Card ATM withdrawals are limited.
Cash Cards work at any ATM, with just a $2.50 fee charged by Cash App.
Get cash back at stores that offer it when you use your Cash Card as a debit card.
How to Activate your new Cash Card
Gas stations may charge your Cash Card a temporary authorization hold of up to $175. The cost of your gas will be charged later as a separate transaction that releases the authorization hold.
Temporarily disable your Cash Card in-app or online.
When a merchant refunds a transaction it can take up to 10 business days for the Cash App to receive the refund.
The quickest way to resolve an unrecognized transaction, or an issue with a transaction you do recognize is by contacting the merchant directly. If they’re unable to help you out, we’re here to help.
If you noticed a Cash Card payment you did not authorize we recommend contacting the merchant immediately to cancel the pending transaction.
Cash App provides unlimited free withdrawals, including ATM operator fees, for customers who get $300 (or more) in paychecks directly deposited into their Cash App each month.
If Cash App notices potentially unauthorized activity on your account, we may decline Cash Card transactions for your protection. Confirm whether you recognize a declined transaction within your app.
