Cash App customers can pay Square Sellers with a simple QR code. This new contactless payment is safe and fast.

To pay Square Sellers using the Cash App QR scanner:

  1. Tap the Payments ‘$’ tab on your Cash App to get to the home screen
  2. Tap the QR Scanner on the top left corner of the screen
  3. Scan the QR Code at the Square merchants point of sale
  4. Follow the Steps

To pay Square Sellers from a native camera:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Camera
  3. Then toggle to enable Scan QR codes (Follow Steps 1-3 once)
  4. Start scanning QR Codes from your mobile device’s camera app
  5. Follow the Steps
