Blocking a Business
If you would like to block a business from using your Cash App Card information, you may have the option to do so directly from your app:
- Go to the Activity tab (clock icon)
- Choose the transaction from the business you’d like to block
- Select the icon of the business to navigate to their profile
- Select Block/unblock
Blocking a business will prevent them from charging your Cash App Card for any new transactions, but it doesn’t protect against existing subscriptions, recurring charges, or outstanding account balances. Please contact the business directly to resolve any of these issues.
You must have a previous transaction with a business to follow the steps above. You can view and manage a list of your recently unblocked and currently blocked businesses from the Card tab. Blocking a business will not prevent you from receiving a refund.
