SunTrust Banks Inc. and BB&T have decided to merge into one new company, Truist Financial Corporation. As a shareholder of SunTrust you will see a name change from Suntrust to Truist and symbol change from STI to TFC. You will also receive 1.295 TFC shares for every 1 share of STI you previously owned. There’s no need to worry though.
