You can transfer money from your Cash App balance to an external bank account using Standard or Instant transfers.

Standard transfers are free and usually arrive within 1–3 business days, while Instant transfers arrive instantly to your linked debit card for a 0.5%–1.75% fee (minimum $0.25).

If your money doesn’t arrive by the expected date, contact your bank so they can help locate the deposit using one of the following reference numbers:

• Visa Network ID

• Mastercard Banknet Reference Number

• Discover Network Reference ID

• American Express Acquirer Reference Data

• ACH Trace Number

You can find this information on your withdrawal receipt in Cash App:

1. Go to the Activity tab

2. Select the withdrawal

3. Scroll to Transaction number

If your bank confirms the deposit was returned to Cash App, ask when the return will settle. Once processed, the money will automatically appear back in your Cash App balance.
