What is your relevant experience, including your licenses, education and other qualifications? What do these qualifications mean?

CAI professionals do not actively manage your account and do not make recommendations or provide investment advice. Our team members maintain the requisite FINRA licenses to perform their job functions.

Help me understand how these fees and costs might affect my investments. If I give you $10,000 to invest, how much will go to fees and costs, and how much will be invested for me?

We do not charge commission on buy or sell trades, however, our team directly passes on exchange and regulatory fees assessed on your qualifying sell trades. These fees are passed along to regulatory agencies and we do not benefit financially from the collection of these fees. We will disclose these fees prior to your confirmation of a trade and they will be listed in your trade confirmation(s). If you purchased $10,000 of securities through CAI you will be investing the entire $10,000, as there are no applicable fees for purchases. You may incur these fees if or when you sell those securities.

How might your conflicts of interest affect me, and how will you address them?

We offer commission-free trading. CAI may receive payment in connection with our carrying broker directing orders to particular market centers for execution (known as “payment for order flow”). We mitigate this conflict of interest by disclosing this to you as well as regularly reviewing the execution quality our customers receive. You can also review the Carrying Broker’s routing practices on the SEC Rule 606 Disclosure in the Disclosure Library.

As a financial professional, do you have any disciplinary history? For what type of conduct?

CAI does not have any legal or disciplinary history. Some of our financial professionals do have legal or disciplinary history. If you choose to work with a financial professional, you may check the background of that professional on FINRA’s BrokerCheck website at brokercheck.finra.org. Who is my primary contact person? Who can I talk to if I have concerns about my account or questions about your services?

Your account is self-directed and you are responsible for managing your account. We do not assign registered representatives to manage our customers’ accounts.
