How to Add a Trusted Contact to Your Investing Account
If you have a Cash App Investing account you are able to add a trusted contact to your account.
A trusted contact is a person that you authorize your brokerage firm to contact in limited circumstances.
For example: If Cash App Investing has trouble reaching you, or if they have a reasonable belief that your account may be exposed to possible financial exploitation, we may contact your trusted contact for more information.
To add a trusted contact to your brokerage account:
- Tap the profile icon on your Cash App home screen
- Select Privacy & Security
- Scroll down and tap Add trusted contact
- Follow the prompts to add a trusted contact
Note:
A trusted contact is NOT considered a beneficiary. Your trusted contact also will not have trading authority or any other discretion over your account.
You are adding the trusted contact to your Cash App Investing Account and NOT your general Cash App account.
