What is Cash App for Business?

Cash App for Business is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs sell their goods and services, and manage their business more easily.

As a Cash App for Business customer, you can connect with your customers by sharing your Cash App QR Code, $cashtag, or email/phone number associated with your account. From there, you can easily receive payments from your customers who use Cash App.

With your business account, we’ll automatically deduct a 2.75% processing fee on each payment you receive. We’ll also issue a Form 1099-K if you receive a certain amount of payments in the calendar year.

The IRS requires that Cash App generate a Form 1099-K for all Cash App for Business customers who receive a certain amount of payments in the calendar year. See our Tax Reporting with Cash App for Business article for more information.
