Paycheck Benefits Common Questions
How does it work?
When you direct deposit $300 or more in paychecks each month, you unlock benefits that help you get more out of every paycheck.
If you deposit less than $300 in a month, your benefits will be inactive the following month. To get your benefits back, all you need to do is direct deposit $300 or more in paychecks again.
Please note that the following deposits do not count towards paycheck direct deposit benefits:
Tax refunds
Insurance claims
One-time ACH transfers from other banks to Cash App
How long do paycheck benefits last?
Paycheck benefits—including higher interest rates—are active starting the day your direct deposits total $300 or more in a month. They will be active through the following month. To keep your benefits active, you’ll need to keep depositing at least $300 each month.
What if I stop depositing paychecks?
Your paycheck benefits will remain active for a month after your last month with direct deposits of $300 or more. If you no longer make direct deposits of $300+ within a single month your benefits will not renew.
