Do I need to report interest earned on my savings when I file my taxes?
Yes, you are responsible for reporting all interest earned on your savings balance to the relevant tax authorities - including the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) - and paying any tax that you might owe on the interest income.
Will I receive a Form 1099-INT?
If you received at least $10 in interest in a calendar year, you will receive a Form 1099-INT for that given tax year.
Where can I locate my Form 1099-INT?
The Form 1099-INT will be available to download from Cash App by January 31 for the previous tax year.

Will the IRS receive a copy of my Form 1099-INT?
Yes. Cash App will file a copy of the Form 1099-INT with the IRS for the applicable calendar year.
How is interest calculated for the form?
The Form 1099-INT will include total interest paid on your Cash App savings balance from January through December of a given calendar year.
