Temporarily Lock my Card

If you’ve misplaced your Cash App Card, you can temporarily lock it in-app or online to prevent new charges.

To lock your card in-app:

1. Go to the Card tab on your Cash App home screen
2. Toggle Lock Card

To lock your card online:

1. Log into your Cash App account at cash.app/account
2. On the left, select Money
3. Toggle Lock Card in the Card section on the right

You can unlock your card at any time by following the same steps above. You'll need to enter your Cash PIN to unlock your card.

Please note: Once you use your card for a purchase, the transaction automatically enters into a pending state. Locking your card does not prevent pending charges from completing.
