Fees

When you use Tap to Pay on iPhone, a 3% fee will be automatically deducted from each payment you receive. 


Receipts

If you choose to send a receipt after your sale, your customer will receive their receipt via email or text. We will only request the customer’s contact information to send them a receipt. 

The receipt will include your $cashtag, a description of the sale, and the transaction details. 


Refunds

With your business account, you can issue refunds to your customers. To issue a refund, you must have the full refund amount available in your Cash App balance. The full refund amount is the total amount of the Tap to Pay transaction minus processing fees. 

You can issue a refund from the payment details for the payment you want to refund, found in your Activity. 

Due to processing times, it can take up to 4-14 business days for the refund to return to your customer’s original payment method.


Transaction history

You’ll find Tap to Pay on iPhone transactions with the rest of your transaction history in the Activity tab. 

To view your transaction history in-app:

  • Tap the clock icon in the bottom right corner of your Cash App home screen to open your Activity tab

  • Scroll down to see your account transaction history

  • Tap a payment for specific payment details

To view it online:

  • Sign in at cash.app/account using your email or phone number

  • Scroll through the Activity page for your transaction history

  • Click on a payment for more details
