Cash App Investing Email Address Requirements

To ensure you receive important notifications, trade confirmations, and documents related to your Investing account, Cash App Investing requires a valid email address on file. An invalid email address could be:

  • A missing email address

  • A misspelled email address

  • An inactive email address that can no longer receive new messages

  • An email address that can no longer receive new messages (typically due to a full inbox)

Please verify that the email address on your Cash App account is up to date and has sufficient space to receive new messages.

To review and update your email address:

In-App:

  1. Go to the account settings by selecting your profile icon

  2. Select Personal

  3. Select ‘Add phone or email’ or select the email address you wish to edit

Web Browser:

  1. Log into your Cash App account at cash.app/account

  2. At the bottom of the left toolbar, click Account (https://cash.app/account/settings) to open your settings

  3. Under ‘Basic Info’, click Edit or Add in the ‘Email section

If the phone number or email is associated with another account, you may be required to verify additional information in order to transfer it to your current account.
