Dividend Reinvesting
Dividend Reinvesting is a stock or ETF purchase that is made with the proceeds of cash dividend that you receive. This purchase will be a reinvestment into the same stock or ETF you earned the dividends from. If you choose to enable dividend reinvestments, this will be done automatically on your behalf each time a dividend is paid.
You have the option to disable automatic dividend reinvesting, and future dividends will appear in your Cash App balance.
To enable/disable dividend reinvesting:
1. Tap the Money tab on your Cash App home screen
2. Tap on the Stocks Tile
3. Tap the notification icon at the top of the screen
4. Toggle Dividend Reinvesting On/Off
When you enable or disable dividend reinvestments, it could take up to 3 business days for those changes to take effect.
Dividends earned during the 3-day processing period after dividend reinvesting is enabled might still be paid out in cash to your balance.
