How to submit documents for income verification

Cash App may request documents to verify your income to gain access to certain features or products. To verify this info, you’ll need to share documents like your pay stubs or tax forms.

Once you’ve identified the documentation to verify your source of funds, you can either take a photo of the document in Cash App or upload an existing image. You can share multiple images, if necessary.

To submit documents in-app:

1. Open the Profile icon at the top-right of the home page
2. Continue to Limits under the Accounts & Settings section
3. Choose Verify income
4. Follow the prompts to share your income and upload the required forms of documentation, then choose Submit

Best practices for submitting information:

• Always include your full first and last name
• Ensure all four corners of the documents are visible
• Make sure the document is legible
• When taking pictures, use a flat surface with little to no items behind or surrounding the document

Our team will review your submission and notify you in-app when we complete our review. If we’re unable to verify your info, we may lower your account limits.
