P2P Bitcoin

As of 12/20/24, we no longer support sending and receiving bitcoin between $cashtags.

Other types of bitcoin transactions currently available on Cash App are not affected by this change. You can still send and receive bitcoin using Lightning (excluding NY customers), and withdraw, deposit, send, or receive bitcoin using bitcoin addresses on the Bitcoin Network. This update also doesn't affect other types of $cashtag transactions using US dollars.
