Cash App Auto Invest Incentive Campaign 


Offer provider: Block, Inc., formerly known as Square, Inc., 1955 Broadway Street, Suite 600, Oakland, California 94612 (“Cash App”). 

These terms (“Terms”) apply to Cash App’s ‘Cash App Auto Invest’ offer through which you (“you” or “Recipient”) may be one of the Twenty-Five Thousand (25,000) Recipients to receive ten dollars ($10) in bitcoin (“Promotional Payment”), subject to the Cash App Terms of Service and these Terms, including the Eligibility criteria below (the “Offer”). 

If you are reading these Terms, you received a push notification directly from Cash App, have accessed the terms via the Cash App application, an email directly from Cash App, a social post from Cash App’s official social media channels or another official Cash App method of customer communication. Only Recipients who receive the official Cash App communications and who meet the Eligibility Criteria below for the Promotional Payment will receive the Promotional Payment during the Recipient Confirmation Period (as such term is defined below).

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must sign up to auto invest in bitcoin and complete one (1) initial bitcoin buy on Cash App  during the period beginning 12:00:01 am Pacific Standard Time ("PT") on December 2, 2025 and ending 11:59:59 p.m. PT on December 31, 2025 (“Auto Invest Period”); and  

  • Complete one (1) recurring bitcoin buy on Cash App any time during the period beginning 12:00:01 am Pacific Standard Time ("PT") on December 3, 2025 and ending 11:59:59 p.m. PT on January 14, 2026 (“Recurring Bitcoin Buy Period”). 

  • Territory: The Offer is only available to legal United States residents in the 50 United States.

  • Recipient age: Eighteen (18) years of age or older

  • You must have an “Eligible Cash App Account”. An “Eligible Cash App Account” means a Cash App Account that has successfully completed identity verification steps, is currently eligible to buy bitcoin, has a physical address and email address on file. To be an Eligible Cash App Account the account must be in good standing, which means: The account does not have a negative balance; the account has not been suspended or restricted; the account remains open and active through the award date; the account has no unresolved B-Notices.   • Limitations

    • Each Eligible Cash App Account may only receive one (1) Promotional Payment. 

    • Cash App Business accounts are not eligible. 

    • Government officials and Cash App vendors are not eligible.

    • Cash App, and its parent, successors, affiliates, subsidiaries, trustees, and client financial institutions, and their respective parent companies, divisions, successors, affiliates, subsidiaries, trustees, and corporate partners, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, members, managers, shareholders, contractors, and employees (collectively, the “Released Entities”), and each of their immediate family members (spouse or partner, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses or partners, regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the same households of each of these individuals, whether related or not, are not eligible for this Offer.

On or around January 15, 2026, Cash App will pay out the Promotional Payments to the first Twenty-Five Thousand (25,000) Recipients who signed up for auto invest during the Auto Invest Period and meet the Eligibility Criteria above (“Recipient Confirmation Period”).

Taxes: The value of this Promotional Payment may be considered taxable income and Recipients are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable federal, state and local taxes. You may be required to provide, at Cash App’s request, certain information to facilitate receipt of the Promotional Payment, including completing and submitting any tax or other forms (including but not limited to Form W-9), necessary for compliance with applicable withholding and reporting requirements. Under applicable law, Cash App may issue Form 1099 (or other appropriate form) that reflects the total value of the Promotional Payment. Cash App does not provide tax advice. Recipients should consult with their tax advisor regarding their personal circumstances and any tax consequences of accepting the Promotional Payment.  

Release: Recipients release and hold harmless Released Entities from any claims, actions, injury, loss, or damage of any kind, resulting, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of a Promotional Payment. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit; loss or damage to property; and claims of third parties. Recipients agree that Released Entities have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, statutory, express or implied (including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, title, and fitness for a particular purpose), in fact or in law, relative to the Promotional Payment.

The Released Entities are not responsible or liable to any Recipient or any person claiming through such Recipient for failure to supply the Promotional Payment or any part thereof in the event that Cash App’s operations or activities are affected, as determined by Cash App in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, by reason of any acts of God, any action, regulation, equipment failure, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war, fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any law, rule, regulation, order or other action adopted or taken by any governmental, federal, state or local government authority, or any other cause, whether or not specifically mentioned above.

Disputes; Governing Law. BY ACCEPTING THIS OFFER, YOU AGREE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION THAT CANNOT BE RESOLVED BETWEEN YOU AND ANY RELEASED ENTITIES ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE OFFER, OR ANY PROMOTION PAYMENT, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND YOU HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) YOUR REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND YOU IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflicts of laws rules. The parties irrevocably submit and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the City of Oakland and County of Alameda, California, or federal court for the Northern District of California. The parties agree not to raise the defense of forum non conveniens.

Miscellaneous; Notices. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the balance of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. Notices to Cash App must be in writing addressed to the attention of Block, Inc. at 1955 Broadway Street, Suite 600, Oakland, CA 94612, Attention: Legal.

Additional Information

Cash App reserves the right to cancel or modify this Offer at any time if you become ineligible for the Offer during the Auto Invest, Recurring Bitcoin Buy, and Recipient Confirmation Periods. All inquiries regarding the promotion should be directed to Cash App.
