Cash App Card is a free to order, customizable debit card you design. The black and white cards are free. Premium cards, like the metal card, are subject to a fee.

It usually takes around 10 business days for the debit card to arrive in the mail. When your debit card arrives, simply activate it with the QR code provided and you’re good to go. You can use the Cash App Card on transactions anywhere Visa is accepted, with no hidden fees.

Yes! You can order a Cash App Card directly in the app and start using it immediately, there’s no need to wait for your physical debit card to arrive in the mail. Just pull up your Cash App Card details in the mobile app, and then add it to Apple or Google Pay—same as you would any other debit card.

You can add one offer to your card at a time. Choose your favorite to activate it, and swap it out for another whenever you want. It’s discounts—tailored to you.

Cash App Pay is a fast, easy payment method accepted by many stores and online retailers worldwide.

In stores, simply scan a QR code for a fast, contactless checkout. You can also make online purchases by selecting Cash App Pay at checkout.

When you use Cash App Pay, money for your payment comes from your Cash balance. If your balance doesn’t cover the payment, it will then be taken from a linked debit card. If you haven’t linked a debit card and your Cash balance doesn’t cover the cost of the transaction, the payment will be declined. You won’t be charged an overdraft fee.

You don’t need a bank account to create a Cash App account or use the app. Without a bank account, there are a few different ways you add money to your Cash balance.

Deposit paper money in stores
You can deposit money into your Cash balance at many participating retailers.

Set up direct deposit
Deposit paychecks, tax returns, and more to your Cash balance using your account and routing number. You can receive up to $25,000 per direct deposit, and up to $50,000 in a 24-hour period.

Cash App makes direct deposits available as soon as they are received, up to 2 days earlier than many bank accounts. Your first deposit may take longer to become available depending on your employer.
