It pays to pay with Cash App Pay

Cash App Pay is a fast and simple payment method that lets you to pay for purchases either by scanning a simple QR code or by tapping Cash App Pay at checkout to be redirected to Cash App. Cash App Pay is available when you shop online or in person at Square Sellers and select third party merchants.

If you’re shopping from your desktop, select Cash App Pay as your payment method during checkout. Hold your phone camera or Cash App’s QR scanner over the QR code generated on your desktop to scan it. Then follow the prompts on your phone to complete the transaction.

Shopping from your phone instead? Select Cash App Pay as your payment method during checkout. You’ll be redirected to Cash App, where you can follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

Cash App Pay will first attempt to debit your stored balance. If the balance doesn’t cover the transaction total, 100% will be charged to your linked debit card. If you have not verified your identity on Cash App, Cash App Pay will always debit your linked debit card.

Cash App Pay is currently only available in the United States.

If you’re seeking a refund for your Cash App Pay payment, you should request it from the merchant directly. Once they refund the transaction, it can take up to 10 business days for Cash App to receive the refund. As soon as Cash App receives the refund, the funds will automatically appear in your Cash App balance or linked debit card.
